You can now support Rail Trail efforts that plan, program and create new activities on the trail. A tax deductible donation of any amount helps fund everything from trail maintenance to chalk for the Before I Die Chalkboard to big projects like Magic Carpet Murals. Donate today to help keep up this work!

  Transformer Plaza nearing completion!  

If you've passed by Carson Station lately then you've noticed the latest project going up - Transformer Plaza. Thanks to the partnership with Centro CityWorks and CATS, you'll soon have the perfect place to people watch on the porchswings, sit and watch the trains go by, or take a quick break while on the Trail.

  Placemaking Microgrants Program Fall 2016  

Do you have a placemaking idea you want to bring to life? The Placemaking MicroGrant Program is available to help fund lighter, quicker, cheaper placemaking projects in the urban laboratory environment of Historic South End. Grant awards range from $100 – $1,000. Applications are due August 31.

  New bench on the trail!  

“Runner’s Respite”, one of the winners of the first round of the 2016 Placemaking Micro-Grant program, was recently installed at the Magic Carpet Mural across from Atherton Market at the Shook Kelley building. This fun seating was submitted by Ken Jones, Liz Richardson and Darcy Everett.
