Come out to paint on the Rail Trail!

Do you want to be a part of a public art project on the Rail Trail? Here’s your chance! We need volunteers to help artist duo "Jessie & Katey" paint murals they’ve designed based on community workshops held in March. Click below for more info!

  Sycamore Brewery Event

On Wednesday, April 20 starting at 4:00pm, Sycamore Brewery is releasing their new Rail Trail inspired brew! The first 50 people get a limited edition Rail Trail/Sycamore pint glass.
704 Shop will be there selling Rail Trail tees!

Sycamore's plans and efforts are a great example of a private property owner's potential to support the Rail Trail.

  CDOT Walking Tours

The Charlotte Department of Transportation (CDOT) kicked off studies for improving pedestrian and bicycle safety for South Boulevard and South Tryon Street in South End, Dilworth, Wilmore and other neighborhoods. The effort kicked off this week with ‘walking tours’ with citizens to help identify safety issues. A public design charrette will be held in May to evaluate and discuss the consultant’s findings. Future improvements will help users more safely connect to the Rail Trail.
